was bought for 54,936,000 USD by Wynn Fine Art LCC while the artist's
Mousquetaire à la pipe (1968) went for 20,76 million USD to an Asian private
Gustave Caillebotte's Rue Halévy, vue du sixième
étage (1878) sold for 13,932,000 USD while Chaïm Soutine's La Femme en Rouge
(1923-24) fetched 10,970,600.
Fernand Léger's Le Campeur, 1er
état (1954) sold for 8,23 million, Paul Gauguin's Chemin sous les palmiers went
for the same price and Pablo Picasso's Nu au Chapeau (1965) found a buyer for
Paul Signac's Antibes, Soir (1903) sold for
7,66 million USD and Mac Chagall's Le Paysan (oil and watercolor on canvas,
1956-66) fetched 7,55 million against a high estimate of 6 million USD.
